DIY- Queen of Darkness

Queen of darkness

It doesn’t take a lot of time or money to achieve this awesome Halloween look. I found all of my supplies at the dollar store. This crown cost me only $5.00 to make!

I purchased the headband, flowers, and skull rings at the Dollar store. (I ended up not using the black necklace, but that could be something to add another time).

How pretty were these roses? I loved the dark colors they came in, the little sprigs and glittered bats and spiders were included with them as well.

The first thing I did was take apart the floral bouquet. I took all of the tops off of the roses and the leaves, and just pulled off the spiders and bats. I didn’t even need to use scissors, everything just slid off. Quick and easy!

I started with my roses first, alternating the color and gluing to the headband.

After the roses were glued on, I added the sprigs and other accents.

These skulls are just a pack of rings that I found from the dollar store as well. I just glued some to the middle of the roses, and then added a gem to the middle skull.

I didn’t worry about being careful with the strings from the glue gun, it just looked like spider webs, it was a cool accent to my crown.

My makeup look was easy. I just used my liquid eyeliner to achieve the look under my eyes.
